The House

Originally a farmhouse, Bärenbad was built in 1903. In 2003 the house was fully renovated and an addition was built. The house is made up of two floors, each with a living space of 180 m^2.

The first floor includes a kitchen, a combined living and dining area (with a television), a large bedroom with a double bed, and a large bathroom with a shower and tub. The eating area opens up to a large patio for eating and relaxing.

The second floor has two bedrooms. One has a double bed and the other has a single, that can be adjusted into a double. This floor includes another full bath with a shower. A wellness-living area includes a reading corner, a multipurpose stationary bike, a large sofa, and a media area with a TV, DVD player, and an iPod port. A large window allows one to enjoy a view of the lush garden and its pond all the way to the nearby lake. With some luck one could even catch a glance of one of the six chickens.
